A health based company came to us to build a database driven software platform site with varying customer needs and requirements that needed to be met. This was to replace a basic static website they had in the past.

They wanted to convert their basic website with a Paypal Checkout button to an extensive site that had true shopping cart capabilities, with a custom cms and parameters they set to make their target customers happy. We went to the drawing board, and started designing their database, backend code, and frontend to help them reach their full potential but also while trying to be as cost effective as possible.

After the design was complete matching the full requirements given, we built out the new platform. We used a full stack framework for easy maintenance and development to keep costs low. The customer was adamant about low cost so we used off-the-shelf solutions with 3rd party libraries to minimize monthly 3rd party software costs. After setting up staging environments, we launched full blown user acceptance testing in addition to code tests we had already written. After testing was complete there was a beta launch, then final deployment to the production site.

So this particular business had already hired another developer in the past that built out the existing static site with the basic checkout button. Shipping the final code is one thing, but with this business they required sensitive information to be HIPPA Compliant with reviews and documentation as necessary. Security is one of our most important items we address before any app gets launched. We insured the database, backend, and frontend code were in compliance with the most stringent set of tests.
