A Multi-Tier School System reached out for a new website that had advanced features to allow their students, staff, and student parents to more easily connect.

We made a complete customized plan for this school, that included specific wants and needs and consideration for growth as the schools administrators deemed necessary. We had set a timeline for each feature with teamwork to review and publish all before fall classes started.

This wasn’t just a Custom Website, but a custom software database driven platform. Our first step was to brainstorm, then research, design, and develop. This included multiple 3rd party integrations such as Google Services, A Custom CMS and others as deemed necessary. We started from a prototype to end with a Beautiful Finished Product.

The Results

Once the final site was up and running, the school was able to have a Brand New site that allowed staff to publicize messages with their mobile phones using google calendar, update teacher directories with easy to search filters, broadcast news posts and sports updates, and create new pages on the fly with a customized CMS (content management system).

Integrated Google Calendar

One top request was a way to create calendar events for teachers and also for public events. We integrated google calendar events with special permissions to only show what calendars they deemed necessary to be public while also allowing attachments for things like board meeting agenda’s.

Broadcast News Posts & Sports Page Updates

Letting kids know school’s out used to be a radio announcement kids listened to while waking up. Now they could just subscribe to the website’s New’s Posts Calendar to get near instant updates. Also, sport calendars are important to know when a child’s game would be and this process streamlined that.

A Customized CMS

A custom content management system was setup with a database designed directly from the business logic the school requested. They had a custom login to a system, some would call significantly better than WordPress, to manage all the website content and to update certain parameters for connectivity to other services. This system also integrated with other 3rd party learning software to meet certain learning system requirements.
